Job Title: Clinical Specialist PET-CT and CT Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist PET-CT and CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at Leaders of Oncology Care and The Harley Street Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17.
  • Rotate between THSC and LOC departments as required.
  • Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
  • Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Assist with training of new staff.
  • Comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary.
  • Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.
  • Ensure quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
  • Implement new policies within the department and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
Requirements:
  • BSc Radiography.
  • Valid HCPC registration (if you are a Radiographer).
  • Technologists should be RCT registered or willing to work towards registration with the help of HCA UK.
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in CT and PET-CT.
