Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to deliver customer projects within agreed timescales and quality levels. With a full team of support from both office and the field, customer satisfaction is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming product enquiries.
- Book meetings with customers to understand their requirements and effectively sell a solution.
- Build professional relationships with customers, approaching from shop floor to director level.
- Hold product demonstrations at the showroom.
- Manage the full sale from enquiry through to delivered machine.
- Negotiate unit price, service, and spare part packages.
- Use Salesforce CRM system effectively to record all sales activities and pipeline management.
- Maintain and look after all tools, equipment, devices, and company property.
- Previous experience selling technical products, such as machinery, electrical products, or equipment supplied to the manufacturing industry.
- The ability to demonstrate how to effectively solution sell in front of customers.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Clean UK Driver's License.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and occasionally stay overnight in hotels.
A competitive starting salary of up to £35K, plus a realistic OTE of over £100K with monthly commission, a fully expensed company car & fuel card, 28 days holiday, company pension, credit card for expenses, and lots of product training on offer.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team within a corporate business that still has a family feel to how they treat and grow their staff. There will be extensive training on offer during the first 6 months to become fully aware of the product range and build credibility with customers quickly.
