Quality Assurance Specialist

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Wotton, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product quality-related issues raised by customers, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and update Quality Dashboard and key performance indicators, including Defects Per Units monitoring.
  • Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement, such as 8D Problem Solving Methodology and Measurement System Analysis.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to solve customer-faced problems and guide teams to perform root cause analysis.
  • Determine approach and assigned tasks independently.

Requirements:

  • Relevant STEM degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with 8D Methodology.
  • Advantageous experience working in Life Science industry or Plastics/Injection Molding environment.
  • Working knowledge of 5Whys and Fishbone Diagram.
  • Advanced experience of Excel, including Pivot Tables and Charts.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Planning and prioritizing activities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present data effectively.
  • Analytical skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Some travel, including international travel, may be required.
  • Position will be Fully On-site (Wotton).
  • Own transport required due to rural location.
