Essential qualifications for a Youth Care Residential Support Specialist:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable) or a willingness to obtain this qualification once employed
- Experience in a children's residential setting (highly desirable)
- A genuine passion for nurturing young individuals
- Flexibility to work 24 to 48-hour shift patterns (including sleep-in shifts) - rota provided in advance, typically 2 on 4 off
- Full, UK driving license (essential)
- All candidates must be over the age of 21 to comply with industry regulations
