To support their expansion, they are seeking a seasoned management accountant to join their finance team.

Hospitality and multi-site experience are essential for this role, alongside strong management accounting expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate general ledger balances, timely end-of-month processes, and robust financial reporting.

The Role:

  • Manage the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly management accounts are prepared, including variance analysis and robust balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders as part of the finance function.
  • Prepare weekly P&Ls for all pub outlets, investigating variances and trends, and communicating with the operations team.
  • Oversee leasehold pub exit program accounting requirements.
  • Supervise a member of staff, a senior EPOS administrator.
  • Provide key support to the business in terms of financial and commercial insights.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, following up on reconciling items and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Support budgeting and planning cycles.
  • Hold regular discussions with the Head of Finance and CFO regarding risks and opportunities identified during the balance sheet review process.
  • Manage and provide ad-hoc information and reports to internal customers, as required.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Hospitality experience, ideally multi-site, including budgeting and forecasting, presenting analysis, and sound commercial decision-making.
  • A commercial mindset and knowledge of process improvement.
  • Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
