We are seeking a dedicated Site Compliance Officer to oversee construction activities in the South West region. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, accompanied by a £3,000 vehicle allowance and 27 days of annual leave, in addition to a pension contribution of up to 6%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and surveyors, including conducting initial site assessments and Pre-Start meetings.
- Maintain mobility across the region, traveling between an office base, home, and various construction sites, representing the Fire Compartmentalisation Project and NHS Property Services Construction Team.
- Conduct measurements and quality inspections of building materials and installation techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of construction and fire compartmentation techniques.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a construction or Hard FM delivery role.
- Experience in a healthcare-related setting.
- Background in customer-focused environments.
- Familiarity with various access tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, including roles and responsibilities.
- Awareness of building regulations (2023 as amended), ensuring compliance with health and safety, legal, and ecological standards.
- Critical focus on Regulation 38.
