Consultant in GAP Job Description

The role of a Consultant in GAP involves providing specialized psychiatric care within the community setting. This position requires a strong background in GA Psychiatry, with a focus on managing a diverse caseload of patients facing various mental health challenges.

Essential Qualifications
  • CCT or equivalent in GA Psychiatry
  • Proven experience in handling a range of community mental health cases
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating across multiple mental health services
  • Section 12 and AC Approval
  • Background in managing physical health conditions
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in specific psychological therapies
Core Skills and Knowledge
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in engaging with clients experiencing mental health issues
  • Prior leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in risk management practices
Additional Skills
  • Demonstrated achievements in clinical leadership
