Position Overview

A forward-thinking technology firm specializing in cyber defense is seeking to recruit a Lead Mobile Security Engineer with a strong background in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to join their mobile platform security engineering division.

In this role, you will take charge of the design, development, and upkeep of AOSP-centric initiatives tailored for research and development as well as specific client needs.

This position is designed for an individual contributor from the outset, providing you with the chance to make an immediate impact. As the role evolves, you will have the potential to mentor and guide a burgeoning team of engineers focused on future AOSP endeavors.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of the AOSP framework and a proven track record in developing and launching AOSP-related projects (including personal initiatives)
  • Exceptional proficiency in Java for Android development
  • Solid knowledge of Kotlin (familiarity with C and C++ is advantageous)
  • Extensive experience with Android Studio, SDK, development tools, and build systems
  • Understanding of Android security principles and/or experience with mobile security initiatives

This position necessitates security clearance at the SC level, so candidates must meet eligibility requirements. Existing or prior SC clearance will be considered a significant advantage.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a portion of the work to be conducted onsite.
