Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at our Preston site. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading areas with materials, completing manual tasks, and ensuring the department meets KPI requirements.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days and nights) - flexibility required.

Hourly Rate: £14.70 for all shifts.

A valid Counterbalance Licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Safety, Health & Environment requirements.
  • Support the Risk Assessment process.
  • Ensure 5S standards are met in the work area.
  • Prepare and load materials in equipment.

Accountabilities:

  • Execute routine tasks within agreed ways of working.
  • Work with attention to detail and within timescales.

Requirements:

  • GCSE in Maths and English desirable.
  • Loading training provided for successful candidates.
  • IT competent.
  • Effective team player with good communication skills.
