About the Role
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading a high-performing pharmacy team. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive top-notch services and advice. With a focus on community spirit, you'll work closely with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and Private services to customers
  2. Provide healthcare advice and support to customers, including those at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  3. Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues
  4. Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to enhance patient care
  5. Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
Requirements
  1. Hold a Pharmacy Degree
  2. Be passionate about leading and empowering a team
  3. Be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  4. Complete a DBS check before employment
