About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Lifeguard to join our team at Leys Pools & Leisure Centre in Oxford. As a Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our customers and staff, while also providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers of all ages and backgrounds
  • Supervise activities and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the pool area
  • Ensure the safe handling and set up of pool equipment
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all customers
Requirements
  • Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society)
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Strong swimming skills and ability to respond to emergencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
