Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for environmental science? We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Sampler to join our team at Anglian Water Services.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Sampler to collect and analyze water samples from various locations across the Colchester area. As a Laboratory Sampler, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our water samples, which are critical to our scientific analysis process.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and prepare water samples from various locations, including water treatment works, recycling centers, boreholes, reservoirs, and customer properties.
- Conduct on-site chlorine tests and ensure the accuracy of every sample collected.
- Prepare and transport samples to the laboratory for analysis.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory colleagues to ensure high-quality results and meet regulatory guidelines.
- Engage with customers and represent Anglian Water in a professional and approachable manner.
- Scientific background or A-Level qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with customers.
- Reliable and professional individual with experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Comfortable with manual lifting and driving throughout the day.
- Ability to work within a defined method and record information accurately.
