We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with our care team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
- Collaborate with the Home Manager and senior staff to develop and implement care plans
- Engage residents in meaningful activities, promoting independence and respect
- Contribute to regular assessments and care planning, ensuring individualized care is delivered
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant
- Previous experience in a nursing or care home setting
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Experience working with individuals with dementia is preferred
- Desirable skills in medication administration
- Passion, enthusiasm, and a caring nature
- Competitive salary: £13.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Flexible part-time and full-time positions available
- Night shifts from 8pm - 8am, Monday - Sunday, with alternate weekends required
