About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the care team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care to residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents
  • Engage in meaningful activities with residents, promoting social interaction and a sense of community
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience working in a care home or similar setting, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and dementia care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
