Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software developers, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Manage the development of scalable firmware and software using a structured, process-driven approach.
  • Plan and coordinate the workload of the software team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and milestones.
  • Maintain best practices within the software team, ensuring adherence to technical standards and company processes.
  • Support the delivery of product firmware and software, from design brief to production, including testing and verification.
  • Assist with project planning, scoping, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial software environment.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum/Sprint planning principles.
  • Strong people management skills, with proven experience as a formal line manager.
  • Experience with project ownership and coordination, from conception to completion.
  • Methodical approach, with a structured mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • Ability to manage working time effectively and prioritize assignments appropriately.
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and dependable.
