Position Summary

The role involves transporting goods to clients within a designated region, ensuring safety and friendliness throughout the process. You will be accountable for the maintenance and care of your assigned vehicle while upholding high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the vehicle by performing necessary maintenance checks and ensuring all products are accurately loaded for delivery.
  • Complete delivery documentation, manage return sheets, and handle payment collections.
  • Fulfill special customer requests by picking up and delivering items as specified.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding customer and operational information.
  • Review run sheets and picked orders to ensure accuracy in deliveries.
  • Plan delivery routes based on schedules and customer requests.
  • Inform customers of any stock shortages or delivery issues.
  • Return empty containers and ensure proper storage in designated areas.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Complete all necessary checks and submit documentation to the distribution manager.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed.
  • Present yourself in the appropriate LWC Drinks uniform consistently.
  • Engage in physical and manual handling tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong safety awareness and driving practices.
  • Possession of the appropriate driving license for the vehicle.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
