Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and conducting effective corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned maintenance with a focus on proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Swiftly address breakdowns and conduct effective corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in various devices, including PLCs and other automated systems.
  • Showcase strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and effective communication.
  • Consistently meet and enhance contract SLAs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support to other technicians and shifts as needed, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Completed time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or higher in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • Prior experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated warehousing is preferred.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including CMMS, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Effective workload planning and prioritization abilities, with a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • 18th edition certification is desirable.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering are an advantage.
  • Multiskilled, PLC, and diagnostics experience are highly valued.
  • Training and coaching skills are beneficial.
