We are seeking enthusiastic service personnel who can consistently deliver a "Make Their Day" experience. The Caf at Selby operates in a dynamic environment, particularly busy during lunch hours, serving hospital staff and visitors. We require individuals with high energy and a proactive attitude. The Caf is open from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled within these hours.
Each day presents unique challenges and responsibilities, including operating tills, serving from hot counters, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in food preparation. Exciting developments are on the horizon, including the introduction of new culinary concepts such as a deli and pizza offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating tills and managing cash transactions
- Serving food from hot counters
- Preparing fresh pizzas
- Working as a sandwich artist at the deli counter
- Cleaning tables and maintaining a tidy environment
- Assisting in pot wash duties
- Supporting food service in wards
- Providing assistance in the kitchen as needed
