Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Southampton

Type: Permanent, Full Time (40hrs)

Job Summary:

This position involves working both in the workshop and in the field, servicing, repairing, overhauling, and replacing high-speed engines. The business is expanding its High-Speed repairs division, leading to an increased workload. Currently, this role involves approximately 25% fieldwork, with an aim to increase this year on year. Candidates should come from an HGV, forklift, generator, marine, or agricultural background with an understanding of engine overhauls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to work both in the workshop and in the field on planned and reactive works.
  2. Hands-on knowledge of engine overhauls, service, and repairs.
  3. Ability to report write and provide feedback on suggested works.
  4. Engine fault finding and diagnostics.
  5. Ability to remove and replace engines.

Requirements:

  1. Full UK Driving Licence.
  2. Passport.
