Join Our Team as a Wordings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wordings Specialist to join our team at AXA XL. As a Wordings Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting business across various product lines, analyzing complex risks, and providing expert advice to underwriters, clients, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and review existing and new insurance products, including analysis and explanation of individual clauses and entire product wordings.
  • Create and innovate new insurance products from scratch or refine existing ones, leading innovation for the AXA XL brand.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Wordings team, Legal Department, and other departments to deliver on team goals and service delivery requirements.
  • Support underwriters in achieving underwriting discipline through coverage analysis and offering robust and clear wording solutions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret and analyze insurance clause and/or wording requests and to satisfy these by drafting your own insurance clauses and wordings from scratch in a clear and robust manner.
  • Ability to deliver your own wording solutions to underwriters, brokers, and peers both in writing and face-to-face.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business, legal, and compliance needs for individual insurance classes.
  • Ability to plan and self-manage workload and work under pressure while adhering to deadlines and competing priorities.
