This is a pivotal moment for our organization as we continue to expand. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of our EMIS-X offerings, which are at the forefront of the next phase in healthcare technology, leveraging cloud-based solutions such as AWS.

As a Senior Product Owner, your responsibilities will include managing product backlogs aimed at achieving our strategic objectives, along with overseeing and mentoring other Product Owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring it is well-structured, prioritized, and includes detailed, actionable user stories.
  • Collaborate across the product owner community to establish and implement best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by collecting feedback from stakeholders, analyzing product performance, and identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Define and apply agile development principles, working collaboratively to outline features that deliver maximum customer and business value.
  • Actively participate in agile processes, including iteration planning, retrospectives, refinement sessions, reviews, demonstrations, meetings, and daily stand-ups.

Candidate Profile:

We seek an experienced leader or mentor in product ownership who is passionate about implementing and instilling quality standards within product processes. You should have a proven track record of success in an agile environment, with extensive experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs, crafting clear user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.

As a Senior Product Owner, you should have prior experience in delivering cloud-based PaaS (Platform as a Service) products. Your background should include close collaboration with development teams, translating functional specifications into technical requirements.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Experience with digital products and strong collaboration with technologists.
  • Solid technical foundation with expertise in technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  • Proven experience in defining and implementing quality processes across complex organizations.
  • A demonstrated history of creating successful, high-quality products and services.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure top-quality product delivery.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and the various markets they serve is desirable.
