About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our team at Superdry. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the Merchandiser and Junior Merchandisers in planning and executing global product ranges across retail stores and e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of historical data to support analysis of trends and forecasts.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Merchandiser, managing range plans and ensuring timely execution.
  • Update and maintain the Warehouse Stock System Interface (WSSI) to support stock control and inventory management.
  • Analyse weekly trade data and propose suitable actions to drive performance and maximize sales.
  • Work closely with the Branch Merchandising team to ensure seamless execution of planned ranges in stores.
  • Support and develop the Merchandising Administration Assistants in the department.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a large fashion retailer, with a strong understanding of global product range planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with high volumes of data and maintain attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently on multiple projects with strict deadlines.
  • Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of customer profile, product range, and competitors.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and managing others, with a strong focus on team collaboration and development.
