Position Overview
The responsibilities associated with this position include:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on a diverse array of control valves and actuators, including positioners, boosters, solenoids, switches, and regulators.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on various isolation valves, such as gate valves, parallel slide valves, and ball valves as necessary.
- Utilizing diagnostic tools and pressure testing methods.
- Setting up and calibrating related instruments.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, including conducting safety checks on tools and equipment.
- Documenting valve overhaul and testing details in the Valve Management System.
- Promoting the Core Values of the organization in all work-related activities.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Relevant experience, particularly with control valves (essential).
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, ONC Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (essential).
- OEM training (desirable).
- Proficiency in utilizing various workshop equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- A valid UK driving license.
Additional Details
- This position is primarily workshop-based.
- Site work may be required occasionally by mutual agreement.
- Driving of company or hired vehicles may be necessary by agreement.
