We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Specialist Learning Disability Services team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Take charge of the unit in the absence of the Team Leader and provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
- Identify the individual care needs of allocated service users and develop and implement comprehensive care plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and other meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.
- Relevant professional qualifications, including RNLD and up-to-date registration.
- Management and leadership qualifications or a willingness to attend leadership training.
- Education to degree standard or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preceptorship and mentorship skills, including ENB 998.
