About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective psychological services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Qualified Psychologists in the delivery and evaluation of psychological services
  • Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments and risk assessments
  • Contribute to clinical formulation and supervised individual and group interventions
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of therapeutic boundaries and clinical risk
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good degree in Psychology
  • Further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health (desirable)
  • Previous experience of working within mental health services
  • Experience as an Assistant Psychologist delivering 1:1 therapeutic work and/or group therapy sessions (desirable)
