Job Summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Warehouse FLT Driver to join our client's team in Deeside. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe movement of stock within the production and warehouse facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient stock management.
  • Stock Location and Picking: Locate and pick stock in a safe and accurate manner, adhering to company procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately check and unload sundry items, maintaining a high level of stock control and rotation practices.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Provide accurate information to the logistics team leader and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing your own initiative and demonstrating input into process enhancements.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with the logistics team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels of the business.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Show a flexible and creative approach to work, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional Development: Have the ability to develop skills via both internal and external training, contributing to your personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Certification and Qualifications: Hold up-to-date certification in the use of Reach and Counterbalance trucks.
  • Warehouse Operations Knowledge: Have a clear understanding of warehouse and distribution operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Stock Control and Rotation: Possess good knowledge of stock control and stock rotation practices.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work within a team and demonstrate good communication skills.
