Job Summary

KBM Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Export Coordinator to join our team. As an integral part of our Export team, you will support the Export Manager in coordinating shipments from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Export Team to achieve their objectives.
  • Book shipments with carriers, including airlines, shipping lines, and road transport companies.
  • Process all shipping documentation, including MAWB, HAWB, Bill of Lading, CMR, and Standard Shipping Note.
  • Process customs declarations through ASM Sequoia software in accordance with instructions and HMRC compliance.
  • Ensure all monthly KPIs are met and billing requirements are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Provide competitive quotations to customers and overseas offices, ensuring intelligent buying is always sought.
  • Understand the company Compliance Programme and work closely with the Export Manager & Regional Compliance Manager for the latest edition of trade sanctions.
  • Ensure Dangerous Goods procedures are followed for successful export in accordance with current regulations.
  • Provide advice to clients on all aspects of importing/exporting cargoes.
  • Have experience in freight forwarding/logistics background.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of Export Regimes and Customs Tariff.
  • Familiarity with Lloyds Loading List, OAG Flight Guide, and Croner's Export Guide.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to react to operational demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
