Our client, a prominent accountancy practice, is seeking a Personal Tax Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers a comprehensive exposure to various aspects of personal taxation and trust management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of Personal Tax clients
  • Assisting the management team with an array of tax-related tasks for a substantial client base
  • Preparing Personal Tax Computations and Returns for Directors, Sole Traders, and High Net Worth Individuals
  • Supporting clients with Personal Tax Planning strategies to reduce tax liabilities
  • Guiding clients in managing their Personal Tax responsibilities while ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Conducting detailed reviews of financial documents to verify the accuracy of Self-Assessment Returns
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients to resolve queries and concerns regarding tax matters
  • Engaging with HMRC concerning inquiries
  • Providing assistance with Trust-related work

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice
  • A strong ambition to advance a career in Personal Tax and offer guidance to clients
  • Familiarity with IRIS software or similar tax software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks and performing effectively under pressure
