We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at Riverway Foods Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and training a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
- Train colleagues on procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures to ensure a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues swiftly to maintain seamless operations and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Oversee production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met, adhering to industry regulations.
Requirements
- Experience of leading and managing a medium-sized team in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality control measures and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Ability to work to KPIs and meet targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
