Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetic Endoscopy Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As an Anaesthetic Endoscopy Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the care needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures under sedation or general anaesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop care plans for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Provide skilled assistance to consultants during procedures
- Ensure all flexible endoscopes are processed, stored, used, and tracked in accordance with current regulations
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- RGN Level 1 (current registration with NMC or HCPC)
- Anaesthetics course
- Endoscopy experience desirable
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
