About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Technology team at Marston Holdings. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of analog and digital electronics, communication protocols, and firmware for bespoke electronic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on electronic components, electro-mechanical devices, RF systems, and embedded microcontroller devices.
  • Investigate the occurrence of failures and bugs in the operation of our devices and participate in root cause analysis exercises to develop and roll out fixes.
  • Develop firmware for microcontroller devices, such as Atmel, Microchip, Silicon Labs, Nordic Semiconductor, Espressif, and ARM-based platforms in bare metal as well as RTOS environments using C/C++.
  • Work with Computer Networks, Communication Protocols, Network Configuration with Windows and Linux platforms, and Low-power RF Networks such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, etc.
  • Experience with OpenThread and working with open-source code bases on Linux environments like Ubuntu is desirable.
  • Have a clear understanding of computer communication networks, IP v4/v6, CoAP, UDP, TCP, and relevant network diagnostics.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Sciences or equivalent.
  • Experience with developing firmware for microcontroller devices.
  • Familiarity with Computer Networks, Communication Protocols, Network Configuration with Windows and Linux platforms, and Low-power RF Networks.
  • Desirable skills include experience with OpenThread and working with open-source code bases on Linux environments.
