Position: Aircraft Wildcat Base Maintenance Supervisor

Morson Talent is actively looking for an Aircraft Wildcat Base Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at a military aviation facility.

About Morson Talent:

Our Wildcat Base Maintenance unit is responsible for conducting comprehensive 300-hour zonal maintenance on a fleet of Army and Navy Wildcat Helicopters. The team undergoes a rigorous training program lasting 17 weeks, during which they perform essential tasks such as disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and rectification of aircraft to ensure they meet operational readiness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain necessary certifications and stay updated through ongoing training initiatives.
  • Execute aircraft maintenance tasks as per established protocols and guidelines.
  • Follow GOLDesp procedures and adhere to tool control measures.
  • Supervise and mentor Technicians and Apprentices while managing maintenance facilities.
  • Prepare aircraft for transport, engage in operational exercises, and conduct thorough inspections.
  • Undertake additional aircraft-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an aeronautical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent military training.
  • Familiarity with UK Military Aircraft documentation standards.
  • Competence in utilizing GOLDesp software.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £38,454.00, increasing to £40,184.43 after the probationary period.
  • Potential for additional banding allowance and performance-based bonuses.
  • Five weeks of annual leave along with a company pension scheme.
