Saltwater Production Manager

Cooke Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Saltwater Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our aquaculture operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of saltwater production and ensuring that our fish farming practices meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Management: Develop and implement production plans to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our saltwater sites, including the management of fish health, feed, and water quality.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that our fish products meet the highest standards of quality, size, and farming practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of our saltwater operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to environmental sustainability and animal welfare.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of site and area managers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively.
- Operational Efficiency and Cost Management: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent academic qualification in a relevant field, such as aquaculture, biology, or environmental science.
- Experience: 10 years of related managerial experience in the aquaculture industry, with a strong background in production management, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of site and area managers. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Strong technical knowledge of aquaculture practices and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
