As a pivotal member of the financial leadership team, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial and administrative operations of the hospital. This role requires a strategic mindset to provide comprehensive management information and reports on various financial matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the finance and administrative functions, ensuring effective management of resources.
- Contribute actively to the Hospital Senior Leadership Team.
- Generate monthly management accounts and financial reports in alignment with company standards.
- Review and prepare the monthly finance pack, addressing any discrepancies.
- Assist the Senior Leadership Team in optimizing labor costs and resource allocation.
- Oversee the Finance, Business Office, and Bookings departments.
- Drive teams to achieve high operational volumes while meeting key performance indicators.
- Support the management of NHS contracts.
- Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate process effectiveness and clinical profitability.
- Engage in regional initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CMA).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for improved performance.
- Integrity and ethical standards in all business dealings.
- Excellent communication abilities.
