We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our growing Spray Team at Fortune Brands Innovations. As a Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production areas, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the Spray Team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines.
- Work closely with the Management Team to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the department, while ensuring that we maintain Quality standards and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct Team Briefings at the start of each shift, ensuring KPIs are discussed and issues are resolved.
- Ensure the team is ready to commence manufacturing at the start of the shift and run in accordance with KPIs and yields, including pre-start up checks and reporting any labour issues immediately to the Assistant Supervisor.
- Plan, organize, and manage labour resources to ensure the Production Plan is met.
- Work collaboratively with all areas of the business.
- Maintain Health, Safety, and quality standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
- Proven track record in a similar role, ideally from within a manufacturing environment.
- Clear understanding of people management, Health & Safety, and quality systems.
- Results-driven and ability to improve performance within the department.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to drive performance and develop the team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Leadership skills, confidence, and commitment to accept responsibility.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English is essential in this role as is the ability to operate computers and computer software.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with all departments.
