Vulnerability Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the vulnerability management operations for Vodafone UK.
- Manage daily vulnerability management tasks including scanning, tracking, and reporting.
- Establish best practices for vulnerability remediation.
- Implement security hardening measures and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate existing risks and control deficiencies by analyzing incident reports, problem management, and vulnerability findings.
- Create, assess, and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to generate metric reports and enhance coordination activities.
- Mentor and develop the vulnerability management team, providing coaching and growth opportunities.
- Lead the implementation of the Telecommunications Security Act within the Vulnerability Management domain.
- Represent the Vulnerability Management team during internal and external audits.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing.
- In-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
- Proficient in patch management tools including TrueSight, Red Hat Satellite, and IBM BigFix.
- Strong understanding of information security management and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience in project management.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with IT concepts, including serverless architectures and containerization.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to visualize and present Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a global corporate setting.
