About the Role

GAP Group Limited's Tanker Services division provides a range of waste management solutions across the UK, from portable toilets to large-scale industrial projects. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Regional Tanker Driver to join our growing Midlands team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain 26t tanker vehicles for waste removal and non-potable water delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and health & safety protocols during operations.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new and existing drivers on safe practices for waste collection and water delivery.
  • Supervise a team of tanker drivers within the Midlands region, fostering a customer-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team and head of tanker services to ensure efficient operations and driver development.

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Extensive experience in HGV driving roles, preferably within the waste management or similar industry.
  • A Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC qualification (minimum 35 hours completed), and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • Proven supervisory experience within a driving or hire environment.
  • A strong understanding of health & safety procedures and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
