Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client, a leading player in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling balance sheets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist with year-end financial statements and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the finance team in the development and maintenance of the accounting system.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

  • A relevant accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software packages, including Excel and accounting systems.
