Job Summary:

Hunter Bond is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Middleware stack, with a focus on Consul and Kafka.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and highly available Middleware solutions using Consul and Kafka
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Terraform
  • Ensure high-quality code and adhere to coding standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical systems

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Consul and Kafka
  • Experience with Linux, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Python
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
