Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team.

This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to grow and expand their operations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a maintenance/production engineering role and possess a strong understanding of electromechanical systems.

The Package:

  • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000 per annum, with opportunities for overtime and shift allowance.
  • 40 hour working week over 5 days on rotating shifts.
  • Up to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Repairing, modifying and maintaining production equipment to drive continuous improvement.
  • Implementing improvement programmes on existing equipment.
  • Assisting with the design and development of equipment and manufacturing methods.
  • Assisting with the introduction of new production processes and machines.
  • Offering general maintenance and support to the production team.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3/equivalent within a mechanical/electrical discipline with 3 years experience within a maintenance/production engineering role.
  • Mechanical experience within pneumatic and hydraulic systems is essential.
  • Training/qualifications within Electrical would be highly advantageous.
  • The ability to work well independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced environment.
