Sales Director

As a General Sales Manager at Group 1 Automotive, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales executives to achieve and exceed targets. You will act as a key contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, supporting the sales executives in negotiating agreements and closing sales.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets
• Lead and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealerships, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the automotive industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will also need to be financially aware, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to negotiate at all levels.
