Job Title: Nursery Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team at Yarrells School and Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Collaborate with the school leadership team to align nursery practices with school goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursery programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a nursery management role, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Knowledge of early years education and care principles, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
