About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Operative to join our team at dormakaba's Tiverton Branch. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the warehouse team in meeting customer service levels by completing allocated tasks efficiently
  • Deliver strategies and initiatives to add value throughout the department, particularly around LEAN principles
  • Ensure accuracy of receipt, stock movement, picking, packing, and loading functions
  • Support other teams and carry out duties across the department as directed by the area supervisor or manager
  • Actively participate in functional training and highlight training needs to maintain operational efficiency
  • Contribute to LEAN initiatives and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation relating to Health and Safety
Requirements
  • Direct warehouse experience or evidence of high self-motivation in a similar field
  • Educated to GCSE level, with good written and verbal communication skills
