Job Title: Production Manager

Lord Search and Selection is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our dedicated team of professionals in achieving operational excellence across all aspects of our manufacturing and assembly facility in Birmingham.

The Role:

The Production Manager will be the hands-on leader of all aspects of manufacturing operations within the organisation, reporting directly to the UK MD. Key responsibilities include overseeing production performance, cost management, and the introduction of new processes to enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets across the department, and will lead dedicated continuous improvement initiatives to realise the department's full potential.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of metals-based manufacturing and assembly operations, including CNC Machining, Milling, turning, and detailed product assembly.
  • Proven track record of leading or contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives and Right First Time mentality.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
What We Offer:

Lord Search and Selection offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of c. £55,000 pa, plus BUPA and pension benefits.
