YG Engineering Ltd is seeking a dedicated Production Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of skilled personnel within our production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage shop floor personnel effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Implement and monitor LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies.
- Oversee production timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Regularly report to senior management regarding production status and team performance.
- Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations for team members.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a management or team leader role within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in production management or supervisory roles, particularly in environments such as press shops or precision engineering.
- Proven change management experience, with familiarity in implementing CI or LEAN improvement strategies.
This position operates within a modern and clean engineering facility, offering a clear path for career advancement from the outset.
