Electrical Maintenance Technician - (4on 4off) - Competitive Salary

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity with a well-established facilities management service provider. Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team in a prestigious commercial environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background (C&G, 17th / 18th Edition) and a solid history of maintaining commercial properties, preferably in critical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing electrical tasks including small installations, troubleshooting, lamp replacements, ballast changes, control panel work, and power distribution.
  • Maintaining emergency lighting systems.
  • Working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Overseeing air conditioning systems, including Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units (filter changes and cleaning).
  • Conducting water treatment checks (temperature monitoring and non-dosing).
  • Handling plumbing issues such as unblocking toilets.
  • Managing BMS and UPS systems.
Working Hours:
  • Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, covering both days and nights.
  • Shifts from 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00.
  • Opportunities for overtime.
  • 20 days of shift holiday.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3 in Electrical.
  • City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Ability to provide trade certificate copies.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Understanding of critical systems including UPS, generators, control panels, power distribution, chillers, and HVAC.
  • Multi-skilled with strong communication abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
