We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to join our dynamic Peer Review Administration Team. As an Editorial Assistant, you will play a critical role in managing the peer review process for a portfolio of journals across various subject areas.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the peer review process for a set portfolio of journals, including building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships and collaboration.
- Research and propose innovative development and efficiencies to improve the peer review process.
- Work collaboratively with the PRA Team to share best practices, discuss challenges, and contribute to the development of the team.
- Serve as the central point of contact for any queries related to manuscript processing from pre- to post-peer-review.
We are looking for a well-organized individual with a passion for data management, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of academic journals publishing and be eager to progress your career.
To be successful in this role, you will work proactively and autonomously, ensuring smooth peer review processing while continuing to provide efficiencies.
Essential Knowledge and Skills- Knowledge of submission platforms (preferably ScholarOne Manuscripts and Editorial Manager) and proficiency in using systems and software.
- Proven skills in delivering training and effective communication.
- IT skills with proficiency in Office.
