Field-Based Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management Provider

We are pleased to present a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable facilities management organization. Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide essential maintenance services across various commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks as part of a dedicated maintenance team.

Working Hours
  • 08:00am - 17:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Competitive hourly rate
Work Locations:
  • Various locations across the region
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided
  • Background check required for this position
  • Parking available at all sites
Key Responsibilities
  • Lighting maintenance including installation, troubleshooting, and lamp replacement
  • Conducting emergency lighting inspections
  • Working with control panels
  • Ballast replacement
  • Monitoring BMS systems (e.g., temperature control)
  • Performing comprehensive M&E and fabric maintenance
  • Updating and maintaining logbooks
  • Basic plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
  • Maintenance of pumps and motors
Candidate Requirements
  • Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • DBS clearance required
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition certification
  • Ability to provide trade qualification documents
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with strong communication abilities
  • Client-facing experience
