JOB TITLE: Commercial Gas Engineer

LOCATION: Various Sites

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 12 Hour Shifts (6am-6pm)

SALARY RANGE: Competitive Salary

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

  • Execute both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks as assigned by the Mechanical Supervisor.
  • Deliver technical guidance and support to ensure all operations align with service level agreements.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and address any faults that arise.
  • Generate technical and situational reports as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of assets to established standards.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities with professionalism.
  • Utilize technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Promptly escalate significant issues to the line manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 - Minimum (Heating & Ventilation/Plumbing)
  • GAS Safe registration
  • Commercial Gas qualifications
  • Other relevant certifications
