Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Gas Engineer to join our repairs and maintenance division. As a Lead Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Commercial Engineers who will be carrying out a range of gas work to our clients' housing stock to ensure that gas appliances and installations are safe for continued use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Commercial Engineers in carrying out gas work to our clients' housing stock
- Ensure that all gas work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with current legislation and governing body requirements
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out gas work safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that gas work is carried out efficiently and effectively
- Manage and maintain company vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- Qualified to City and Guilds/Commercial Gas Engineer standard and hold appropriate ACS certification
- Commercial Gas Tickets
- Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body requirements
- Ideally previous non-domestic, social housing experience
- Extensive 'on the job' experience
- Full driving licence
